Dr. Matti Brown Davis, LPC, maintains a private practice in Virginia Beach, VA, working with individuals and families to achieve llife balance.  She specializes in EMDR trauma therapy, working with military individuals and families as well as civilians.  Dr. Matti also do EAP counseling, anger management groups.  She perform Psychosocial assessments and DDDetermination.

With over 15 years post graduate experience and a graduate of the University of Detroit, Mercy Counseling Psychology program, Dr. Matti is effective in working with a individuals with a broad spectrum of emotional and behavioral health issues.  

In addition, Dr. Matti welcome the opportunity to speak/presented at civic and religous conferences on the topics relevant to life choices, and personal growth and development.

Dr. Matti is an interactive, design therapist, asserting that all human life and design is relevant and valid.  She works with individuals to discover their design, and how that design best navigate the world.   Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical guidance that effectively address personal life challenges. She integrates complementary methodologies and techniques while offering a highly personalized approach tailored to meet the individual need or concern. With compassion and understanding, Dr. Matti  works with each individual to help build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
